The first reference sheet for effective main character Rhys Alhensteim, fresh of the press/photoshop/Tablet/WHathaveyou
While still very rough, Rhys’s design is one of those that I think fit my vision for him from the first go. A former soldier of the empire turned member of the revolutionary group Calamity Gear, he serves as the effective main character of the game’s storyline. I tried to give his equipment a bit of a jurry-rigged/repaired look with the mismatched elements, as well as give him a bit of a 1950s greaser flair for his actual look, and I’m dang happy with it myself
